For real-estate sector, responsible for 40% of greenhouse gas, sustainability is becoming a crucial factor in both: creating new developments and spaces and allowing sustainable operations. Green certifications assess design and construction processes and evaluate their environmental impact, under strict methodology and against rigorous requirements by independent reviewers. LEED certification scheme is multicriterial assessment method, that verifies projects compliance against several best sustainable practices – from energy efficiency, water efficiency, to location and impact on health of the future users.
Awarding LEED Gold certification is an independent confirmation of implementation of the global best green solutions in sustainability and Citi’s dedication to sustainability.
